DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 22, 2014) - In response to increasing demand, Daytona State College will begin offering the Associate of Science (AS) in Business Administration at its regional campuses in Deltona, New Smyrna Beach-Edgewater and Flagler/Palm Coast beginning fall semester.
In a unique 4-in-1 program, the degree, which can be completed in two years or less, features three “embedded” certificate programs in Sales and Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Business Operations国产偷拍视频 that students can pursue while enrolled in the degree program, or separately, if they choose.
国产偷拍视频“Small business is the primary economic driver in the communities served by our regional campuses,” said William Wetherell, chair of the School of Applied Business at DSC. “These certificates and the AS business degree benefit both business owners and their employees. They gain skills that support and grow the small firms that are so vital to our economic well-being.”
While the AS in Business Administration can be completed online, regional campus directors have been receiving increasing requests by their students for the degree to be offered in a traditional classroom setting. Fall classes have been scheduled for Daytona State’s full 15-week term, which begins Aug. 25.
Like many of its academic programs, Daytona State’s College of Business Administration applies a career pathways structure to its degree and certificate programs. For example, a student can begin with a two-semester certificate in Business Operations in order to prepare for an entry-level job. Credits earned in that program will transfer into the AS in Business Administration, enhancing marketability and earning potential. Credits from the AS degree can then transfer into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management国产偷拍视频.
Registration for fall semester is underway. For more information about these and other program offerings, call (386) 506-3059.
