The Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management program can prepare you for advancement in your field. Associate degree programs prepare graduates to enter the job market in entry-level or mid-level positions. Upper-level coursework in the BAS program can broaden your knowledge of applied business practices and prepare you for higher-level management and supervisory opportunities. BAS students are eligible to take coursework that will prepare them to attain the premier project management certifications based on experience. These certifications are internationally recognized and will provide the project management foundation to work in any country, industry, or company.
Students graduating from Daytona State College’s Supervision and Management program are taught the skills to effectively lead and manage business operations within their technical field of interest. Specifically, the business community articulated the need for Daytona State College to produce individuals with bachelor’s level supervisory and managerial skills to enhance the occupational/technical preparation provided by their associate degree programs. Earning your Daytona State College bachelor’s degree will provide the access needed for employees to advance their skills in the workplace for managerial career opportunities. Applicants for the BAS program must have earned an associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Those with AA degrees who have completed all core general education courses will be required to complete a total of 18 credits in an occupational/ technical area (e.g., accounting technology, computer science, business, etc.). Other associate degree graduates must complete additional core general education courses.
College or university transfer applicants from a regionally accredited college or university must have earned at least 60 college credit hours. Applicants must have received a grade of "C" or better in all core general education courses that transfer into the BAS program. All applicants must provide an official transcript from all previous institutions attended. Transfer students must meet Gordon Rule requirements.

1. Get Admitted!
Complete an Application for Admission . Continuing Daytona State students are still required to submit a new application for the BAS program in order to change levels.
Submit final, official high school or GED® transcript including a graduation date. Students who graduated from a home school program are required to submit a home school affidavit. Submit final, official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended. An official transcript is one that arrives in a sealed envelope. If you graduated high school or have attended college in another country, please download the information sheet, Evaluating Credentials from Outside the U.S., and follow the instructions. 2. Get Financial Aid!
Apply for financial aid as soon as possible. Financial aid is available to students enrolled in an eligible program to assist in meeting educational expenses. If you are a new or readmitting Daytona State student, complete the online orientation. It will introduce you to some important information about the College and familiarize you with many important services available to you as a student.
